Burbank, California
Completed 1999
Following Disney’s acquisition of ABC Television, the ABC company headquarters was moved from New York City to Disney campus in Burbank, California. Designed in collaboration with the Walt Disney Imagineers and inspired by the streamline modern style prevalent in Los Angeles in the 1940s, the steel frame, 430,000-square foot building with a seven-story below grade parking garage was clad in metal panels, stucco, brick, and glass. This lot, sharing the site with Disney’s Feature Animation Building, is the final corner of the Disney campus. Design and management executed by Jess Walker at Morris Adjmi Architects.
