Celebration, Florida
Completed 1997
Located in the Business District of Disney’s Celebration Florida, this 160,000 square foot office building was commissioned by Disney. The structural concrete frame functioned aesthetically and structurally as the giant order round columns prevalent in all the building’s facades. The red corner towers were clad in red pigmented concrete panels with entries in red sandstone. Green aluminum curtain wall systems were featured. The Celebration Place Business District, an example of neo-urbanism, remains an iconic gateway to Disney’s planned residential community of Celebration. Design and management executed by Jess Walker at Morris Adjmi Architects.
