The St. Joe Company headquarters, built along the Saint James River, is a 210,000 square-foot office building situated on top of a two-story enclosed parking garage. The custom office space features a cafe with outdoor dining, terrace and dock along the river. St. Joe was established as a paper company which purchased thousands of acres of Florida for the harvesting of trees to produce paper. As the global economies changed, St. Joe, owning as much as 7% of the land in Florida, changed to a development company embracing the “neo-urbanism” movement.
