South Street Seaport, Manhattan
Completed 2012
This 35,000 square-foot speculative rental building with ground floor retail is clad in pure zinc clapboards.  Long steel cables referencing the adjacent, historic Brooklyn Bridge support the marquee.  The windows and trim are of the natural mahogany often found in the prewar boats docking nearby.  Such features are in harmony with the South Street Seaport Historic District. Design and management executed by Jess Walker at Morris Adjmi Architects.
