This modest 1,400 square foot, 2-1/2 bedroom house was designed to complement an existing, historic writer's cabin. The writer’s cabin was renovated as a separate guest house. The main house was clad by gray-stained pine siding, a dark metal roof and windows. The interior is rich with warm-stained oak floors and trim. The front porch was inspired by early American cottage design.
