Williamsburg, Brooklyn
Completed 2012
A full-service, 50,000 square-foot boutique hotel. This complete rehabilitation of an existing 19th-century manufacturing building now has a modern addition and amenities. The original building, and much of the fit out, was seen as a found object. All new design was articulated in a modern style and juxtaposed with the historic industrial language of 19th-century Brooklyn. The acclaimed Wythe Hotel has 88 rooms, a ballroom, outdoor garden, screening room, restaurant, private dining and art deco roof top bar with a spectacular view of Manhattan. Design and management executed by Jess Walker at Morris Adjmi Architects.
